The Mt. Pleasant CDC is a non-profit organization that is committed to improving the lives of people in the community. Our mission is to create a sustainable and equitable community by fostering economic development, education and training, and strengthening families. We believe that by working together with our partners, we can achieve great things. Our history is one of collaboration and innovation, and we are proud of the progress we have made.
Mt. Pleasant CDC focuses on addressing a variety of community challenges such as: Poverty Alleviation, Affordable Housing, Education Equity, Health and Wellness, Environmental Sustainability, Community Safety, Youth Development, Elderly Care & Social Services, Infrastructure Improvements and Cultural Preservation.
